Being away over the weekend, I didn't realize the amount of rain that had fallen in the territory. I heard on the radio that Point Hut Crossing had been reopened to traffic as the water level had dropped.
Today's run was a tour to see the effects of the rain and the water level in the river. The track between Point Hut and Pine Is had obviously been covered as it is now muddy in places instead of nice soft sand.
Plenty of flow, too fast to chance standing in it but a couple of keen anglers were trying to catch fish at Pine Is beach. Good luck guys.
Ewen, read the weekly email with the Saturday plan on it. Back in March I predicted a chance to win at the monthly handicap at end of June. CJ & Strewth will have to be at their best to have any chance of holding off a fast finishing Two Fruits.
