Qld Left Behind

We are now south of the Qld border, back to where we stayed a week in late May on our way north. We would love to stay here another week again, but we have arranged to meet up with our Newcastle relatives this weekend at Hawkes Nest.
As before there is a nice open beach here, the caravan park is just behind the sand dunes and next to the river mouth. We have a great spot facing the river, just 600 metres to the beach.
Beaut morning, great running conditions to amble up and down the beach, no shoes of course, and no need for many clothes either.
A quick swim in a 19 degrees sea to finish off, only the brave and wet suited surfers out there.
