A run home for lunch and back again. Nothing exciting until half way back to work on the fire trail behind Bonython houses.
Noise in the grass. Was it (a) a snake, (b) an echidna or (c) unknown foreign object.
It was a wombat, a good size, not too big, would have been heavy to lift, walking easily across the slope in the grass & stopping in the drain.
I did ask if Ewen was about, but no answer. So I continued on presuming Ewen had lunched earlier.
Certainly the highlight of the day.
The other highlight was seeing Ashlee & Sophia going to elimination on MKR. So good, that should keep the bossie one quiet for a little while.
