Friday, another short run just to keep the recovery going without any training purpose except to enjoy the nice warm weather followed by a dip in the river.
Today, in lieu of a walk at the Cotter, the girls cancelled that to walk West Basin due to the heat, I met Softshoe for a slow final recovery walk/run around the local trails & hills.
Spent a bit of time trying to follow the Centenary Trail where there is a lack of markings near Fadden Pines & thru MacArthur. It's easy if you look very closely at the map, but the maps need to be enlarged, on paper they lose clarity.
No chance of getting lost, just that the bureaucrats are not good at marking courses, just drawing lines on a map.
Otherwise, all good, finished just in time as it was getting hot.

  • Shame we couldn't do the Cotter trail today due to the total fire ban, extreme heat & concerns about being out there with no mobile coverage :(. The "Skinny Flat Whites" are planning another training walk @ the Cotter before Coastrek. We'll keep you posted on the details.
