As I wrote in my previous post, I have been battling a sore left glute/hip which may or may not be improving. Plenty of treatment, just doesn't want to heal.
Three days off running in last 4 combined with a very slow run on Thursday between rain showers have killed off any descent km total for April & might have changed the plans for the outback running trip in June. Could just be a sight seeing tour.
Today I jogged between talking to others at the Canberra marathon. A perfect day for the runners weather wise, but the changed course had some challenged with more hills. One GPS figure had just over 1000 metres of climbing. Not sure I quite believe that, but more than in previous years.
I'll try to back up this next week, as I need to make a decision on what to do.
Reality is I need to be doing upwards of 150 kms per week by mid May & that's not looking likely at the moment.
