Altitude and Attitude

Today:
Distance: 12.7 km
Time: 66' 28"
Rate: 5' 13" per km
Weather: beaut, sunny, temp 19 degrees, humidity 50%, calm
Week: 88.25 km
May: 130.65 km
Year: 1865.3 km

Today was an easy run down to the river to get some cold water on to the legs. Just feeling a little lethargic for no good reason, so the cold water is the tonic. Felt really good on the way back after 10 minutes in the water, but then it is a perfect autumn day in Canberra.
Tomorrow, the reason for the title of today's blog, is the Australian Mountain Running Championships on Mt Tennent. It takes real attitude to run up mountain, the end result on making it to the top is a great reward for the hard work required. Not many will run all the way, most will walk a couple of times on the steep parts. Attitude will conquer altitude, plus a bit of training.
