Another run from work to home for lunch and back to work. Finding a different course to go is becoming harder when I have run over every track there is almost in the Tuggeranong valley. Today a slight variation, along the river track to Point Hut, past the Gordon pond to Lanyon shops, up on to the base track of Tuggeranong Hill and home for lunch. About 12 km in total.
Back to work down Johnson and Woodcock Dr to the gravel track behind Bonython, detour around the road works on Athllon Dr and just enough time for a shower before slaving over a hot wheel.
Pity about the breakdown later in the afternoon, only managed a couple of hours before the bus suffered a from a fault in the engine management system. The mechanic arrived where I had stopped near Fraser terminus to say that it would be a tow truck job if I couldn't nurse it back to Belconnen depot. Slowly and carefully I made it with the breakdown van behind me just in case. Bus left at Belconnen to be towed to Tuggeranong tomorrow. Easy afternoon, rode the bike home afterwards with a big tail wind, no effort required there either.
Tagged by Strewth, I will have to read the instructions to see what I need to do. Maybe tomorrow, too busy now organising flights to FNQ for August.
