We had to go interstate this afternoon, so I decided to see how far I could get before being picked up by car.
The run was really good in unfavourable conditions again, although the wind had dropped considerably from the past few days. Still cold, with a light sprinkle of rain drops a couple of times.
From home I ran down to the Monaro Hwy, turned left towards Sydney and see how far I could go. Felt really good all the way, meant to take it easy, but could not hold back, pushing up the hill on the highway, and striding out on the down toward Hume.
Didn't quite make to the border and the safety of extradition, but was back in custody at the servo at Hume.
Happy with the run, happy to be caught as well, it was getting cold. Good idea to run under pressure, almost better than racing as a speed session.
