Is Bass Strait the perfect place for recovery? The answer is it has everything needed to be able to run again the next day. It is cold all year round, yesterday no exception, is is salt water, best available, it's close, no wonder the footballers and horses use it. A nice session on the beach. Pity about the weather.
Night run with the Hash House Harriers. Second time I have been on one of their runs. Not quite my scene but I did enjoy the night. They know how to have a good time, even the trail we followed had a bit of everything.
The family showed the way as most others either opted for a short cut or missed a turn.
Hobart today for a three days, snow on Mt Wellington and it will be cold especially if the southerly winds blow.

  • Hope you and some of the other ACT ultra guys are going to contribute to the discussion on Coolrunning about having a 100km and 100mile run in Canberra next year.
