Bright is a small town at the foot hills of the Victorian Alps. Kelley is down there this weekend to run up 4 mountains, one each day over 4 days, very bright. The sun was out in full force today, very bright. I ran 16 kms today in that sun and a temp of around 28 degrees, very bright. I have 2 months now to cover 1060 kms to get to 5000 kms for the year. Not very bright!! Try anyway.
Today was the longest for 2 weeks by far, I have ran on 25 days this month, some very short, note that very impressive daily average, just over 11 kms, so easy to maintain.
Really nice day except for the strong NW wind blowing, couldn't keep the hat on. A good run in the conditions, along the river to Point Hut, up through Gordon and home for lunch. Then back into the face of the mini gale, behind Bonython on the gravel track to Pine Is and return to work.
The hard work starts tomorrow leading to the new year with SFT the main short term objective.
1 Comments:
Definitely hay fever weather - wind, wind, wind AND fluffy white cotton floating in the breeze! Keep on running - those 5000km are in sight - phew I am exhausted just thinking about it!
