Dry on the Western Front

Weather: sunny, temp 30-32 degrees, humidity 15%, wind calm

This warmer weather in just a couple of weeks has dried out the grass very quickly. The good part is short dry grass makes it easier to see the snakes and the ranger on the quad bike has cut the edges of the tracks near the river as well.
Today, leaving after midday to run, I ventured over to the back of Urambi Hills, along the river track back to Pine Is, a swim to wash off the dirt and sweat, and back to work. A stay at work lunch break today, and tomorrow, Mrs 2F has other more important things to do than be at home when I'm there for lunch. Although hot to run, very low humidity made it quite pleasant, felt nice with some pace on the flat and down hill.
Ewen, I think the double over the weekend is a possibility, might cut the Mt Tennent run a bit shorter than the rest, include the easier Bushfold Flats than the full 25 km distance Mick has planned. Just can't miss out on a run on that mountain.

Your game swimming at Pine Is. I ran past there this morning and it's starting to resemble an African waterhole.

Not sure what you're talking about softshoeshuffle - might have to check it out myself.
A long run Saturday never hurt your handicap races 2F, so I'm sure you can get the body through Saturday in one piece.
