Running on Sand

Today:
Where are we now:  Turner's Beach, Tas.
Which is where? Half way between Devonport & Ulverstone
Image: Taken at door of caravan at Berriedale Caravan park in Hobart.
Running:
Distance:  11.85 km
Time: 67' 28"
Rate:  5' 41"
Weather: cloudy, temp 17 degrees, humidity 75%, wind NE at 18 kmph
Week:  32.35 km, April:  140.9 km,  Year:  921.95 km

Every day at Berriedale these little quackers came around for a feed, they would eat anything. Lucky for me they don't like dirty smelly running shoes. Nice company for the tourists and locals. Pity to leave them but our time in Hobart was over. We drove up the midlands highway yesterday, a beautiful autumn day especially for travelling, no wind and no rain.
Arrived at our new location, handy for visiting family and friends in Ulverstone and close to Devonport for a very early start on Monday for the boat trip across Bass Strait.
Running today was part beach, some rocks, part railway line, part gravel road and part concrete bike path.
The slowness of the km rate was the walking on the rocks, and the roughness of the railway line. Bit tricky trying to balance on the tracks.
Nice to be able to get something done today, the inconsistency certainly plays on both fitness and motivation.
