It's a tough undulating course on the western side of the Arboretum, a great location that will only get better as the trees grow.
Rain during the week settled the track surface nicely, just a couple of soft spots where machinery had loosened the track.
Felt really good after yesterday's outing in the Namadgi National Park. A good solid run from near the back at the start, caught plenty after the turnaround except Ewen & Janene in particular.
Stopped at Pine Is for 22 minutes in the cool water which has helped plenty.
Bit low on the weekly kms but a rest day on Tuesday and a short run before a massage on Friday were both needed. I should benefit from both next week.

Good course (if I could run up hills). Saw you coming but timed my finish to perfection, thus avoiding a long queue to get my number AND name recorded.

You slowed down nicely Ewen to avoid getting third place. Good work.

Ha ha, I just gave them my number (cloth one visible) and told them they didn't need my name ;o). It was quick, despite the standing around and waiting for those in front of me to give their name and number. Look at that - my name appeared in the results.
I agree with Ewen, good course if one could run hills. I wonder how many people next year will choose this one as their 'volunteer' one?

I'm volunteering for at least four of them next year.
