Waited for the tide to go out again this morning. High tide about 10 am.
Another nice day on the coast, lovely sunny day with just a light breeze.
I pushed on a bit further up the beach, but there is still plenty of sand yet to cover before I leave here.
It's a good beach to run on, firm sand after the water has gone. The headland where the beach will end is still another few kms away.
Turned around at 8.5 kms, back to the breakwater where I had a quick swim in a nice sea temperature of 23 degrees.
Probably keep the distance shorter tomorrow and run some intervals to maintain some speed.
This beats working hands down, can't wait until I retire.
