No Fun in the Rain

Rested on Sunday not knowing the next two days would be drought breaking. Rain on Monday put any chance to run out, so then there was no choice today.
I had ran no more than 150 metres from the front door of the depot, and down came the rain again. No stopping but I did go straight home instead of a loop back to ride the bike home. The bike had been at work since Monday morning, and still is now. I will ride it home some time this week.
A couple of non running days certainly does have a benefit, the aches and pains always there disappeared for a while today. The ease of the running was noticeable, but I couldn't have every second day off, too much mentally, especially when spring and summer arrive.
I did find out a bit more about Sarah Barnett, she ran the 6 day race at Colac in 2005 covering 572 kms to rank 7th best Aust female. She would now move to 3rd with her performance in Sweden.
