Mt Rob Roy run No 49 and an established Boxing Day special now for last decade.
Several have been postponed, turned around due to bad weather but always done a short time later.
This year, after a Christmas Day of cool, some showers & a general unseasonal day, turned out to be cloudy but at least dry.
Showers over past few days have made the tracks & trails much softer and settled down the loose rocks & dust. Good today to run over.
Ran with Softshoe to the sub station behind Theodore, up the usual way to top of the mountain, but gave the actual trig a miss this time.
Down to the open paddock, down the steep but now sealed track to the reservoir behind Banks/Conder. Then back to the sub station and return to start via Calwell oval  shops.
A very pleasant outing today, conditions good, certainly not warm weather. No pressure for a fast run, just get it done and back home in time for the cricket.
Not going to do much today, take it easy, relax. Today's effort on the mountain was plenty.
