Blewitts, But Which Track

Today:
Purpose: new monthly handicap course
Total Daily Distance:  13.9 km
Time:  81' 49"
Rate:  5' 53" per km
Weather:  cloudy, temp 10 degrees, humidity 55%, wind calm

Week: 25.4 km, July:  186.8 km,  Year:  3061.95 km

Some of the trails in Blewitts Forest have been dug up during the relocation of drainage on the Coppins Crossing side of the monthly handicap course.
Using the existing start/finish area on Uriarra Road, we needed to make a few changes to avoid this damaged area.
A suggestion had been made, so I ran over the changed trails to check out the surface & the difficulty.
Nice trails, a few more ups and downs, so I think we will be able to find something suitable. Distance will be about the same.
That took care of 7.5 kms, then I returned home for lunch and ran back to work.
Given the first part at Blewitts was stop/start, and slow, the second part back to work was pretty good.

  • A few more ups and downs! Isn't that the most up/down course in history? Something for the wimpy track runners to complain about - love it!
