Both hammies have been sore for more than a week especially when I'm cold, and this week hasn't really been that warm at all.
I have a feeling it's back muscles related and the soreness is showing as the " referred pain" site.
At least the sun was shining making it feel warmer than the 19 degrees air temp. I tried today to get warm to start, then stopped at Pine Is for about 12 minutes in the water, then continued on my run home. A couple of stops to stretch and I made it without feeling any more soreness.
Late afternoon weather forecast wasn't going to be kind so I drove the car back to Pine Is.
A short 2.5 km jog followed by another 13 minutes in the water. Alternating the warmth from the run, the cool of the water, then a bit of sunshine warmth appears to have helped today.
Tomorrow on the mountain will certainly test how this has gone.
