Another beaut autumn day, perfect for a run or anything else you wish to do outdoors. Easy run home at lunch time and back to work. Too busy to get to the river for a relaxing splash.
As well, a bit of planning on tomorrow's bike race. Last Thursday, a discussion on whether my up hill riding ability would be enough to finish in front of Kevvie, fearless leader on the bike. FL is much better on the technical and the down hill parts of a bike ride.
We will find out soon enough. I am hoping Tinker 1 can wear him out on the tennis court tonight. That would make it even after my run today.
No need to carbo load, just an early night and hang on when the speed gets fast. The plan is to go hard to knock the stuffing out of his legs early, apply pressure on the flat and try to stay close until the up hill. Then say bye bye, see you at the finish line. At least there is a plan.
Unknown factor is actually staying on the bike for the entire trip.
