At Last, an Easy Day

Two short runs at lunch time. First, the usual trip from work to Pine Is, along the river track and then up Woodcock and Johnson Dr to get home for lunch. Took car back to work, but stopped at Pine Is for second short jog before spending 10 minutes in the river.
Water levels are dropping fast and the school kids are making the most of it. Plenty of them about enjoying the great outdoors.
Nothing to report, recovered well after the weekend's efforts.
Seem to have clarification that Maroondah Dam run is on Sunday 21st Feb 2010 according to both the AURA website for the event, and the race thread on coolrunning. I can ask for the Monday off on leave from work, either a day off on normal leave, or if not available, I can apply for sick leave. Probably will be too tired and sore to go to work any way. That makes it a safety issue, better to be safe than sorry, I carry important luggage.
