Today:
Distance: 15.9 km
Time: 79' 24"
Rate: 4' 59" per km
Weather: sunny, temp 23-25 degrees, humidity 25%, wind northerly at 25 kmph

Week: 54.9 km, Dec: 39.4 km, Year: 4090.65 km

Two similar days of running and weather. Both easy running from work to home at lunch time except Wed when I took car back to work to get to the sub committee meeting for the vet's handicaps. Jumped over a 1 metre long brown snake on the nature park above the river near Point Hut. It was hiding in the shade of a tree so I didn't see it until very close.
Today, a nicer encounter with an echidna on the track between Pine Is and Point Hut. A good size, nice solid example of an Australian marsupial. Beautiful but spikey.
At the sub committee meeting, 3rd place getter in the long course got hit for the improvement going back 9 groups. That puts her now 2 groups behind Ewen, who went forward one group for a slow run. Not always are winners the grinners. But a medal is a medal. More than I can say.

  • She'll be bragging about that! I'll never hear the end of it.

Keep jumping those browns - should be plenty out with the warmer weather kicking in.
