We Want Perfect Conditions All The Time.
1st run: 4.00 km in 19' 23" at 4' 51" per km
2nd run: 4.90 km in 24' 33 at 5' 01" per km
Weather: cloudy, temp 33 degrees, humidity 30%, wind calm
Week: 41.5 km, Jan & Year: 171.6 km
Broke the running up again into one before lunch and one after with a bike ride in between. Very warm again, humidity a bit higher than yesterday. Perfect conditions are rarely encountered, so I put these days ( and cold winter days) in the mental toughness basket. Sooner or later, a race will have conditions that are not perfect, these easy training days are therefore needed to get through those tough race days.
Some how, today's pace was much better than last couple of shorter running days. May be I am getting something out of it, even if it is sweaty & thirsty. But the 10 minutes in the river at the end makes it worth while.
May be tomorrow will be that descent longer run I need before Saturday.

If you ran when we do you would have had the Bungendore Doctor. 20C at 6pm felt like 10C! Perfect :)
