Boys only this morning, the girls had started their running much earlier and chose not to run with us at 7 am. Five of us left my place for Theodore sub station, then climbed Mt Rob Roy going up the back trail from the Conder/Banks side.
Off the top, we met a runner coming up, not often do you see other runners on the mountain. Closely followed by two mountain bikers, so almost peak hour on a nice Saturday morning.
We walked many of the steeper parts, but nicely jogged along on the flat & the down hill where possible. The trail down the mountain is slippery with loose gravel on rocks so care needed.
Excellent morning out with the boys, good fun as we are all slowly improving or getting back into the groove now the better weather has arrived.
Today was the 41st time I have climbed the mountain, a great asset for the Tuggeranong valley for those that like a challenge.
