Travelling is not supposed to be tiring, just waiting to be transported from A-B. Somehow, the next time you try to run, nothing wants to move. I had hoped for a better run, it was going to be easy, no pushing at all, but that went out the door when the first little hill arrived.
The run was another tour of everywhere, returning home for a drink and banana after each section. First lap, Gowrie, Fadden nature park, Wanniassa Hills, Farrer Ridge, Wanniassa Hills again across the top to Karralika, around the back of MacArthur, down Isabella Dr and back home. Wasn't all that good at this stage, but never the less, left for the 2nd lap.
Straight forward circuit of the base of Tuggeranong Hill, Gordon, Conder, Theodore, Calwell oval and back home. Drink and out again on 3rd lap. Down Johnson Dr and Woodcock Dr to Point Hut. Stop to stand in the water for 10 minutes, the water is very cool, not quite cold, then back home.
Really only the last part going home that put the km rate overall over 6 min per km. Started to feel the pinch in the last hour, I will put that down to a few days of " junk" food over the last few days not providing any value or substance, just enough to stay alive.
Weekly total looks ok at nearly 75 km, but it is only 2 days of running in 5 days, good average but not enough consistency, must be careful it doesn't lead to disaster.

Steve methinks you should look to Ockham's razor for explanation here, alas its not junk food mate that's pulling down your pace its just plain old age catching up.
