Winter in June

Today:
Distance: 8.4 km
Time: 44' 25"
Rate: 5' 18" per km
Weather: cloudy, temp 10 degrees, humidity 70%, wind strong from NW at 20 kmph
Week: 58.5 km
June: 169.35 km
Year: 2261.2 km

The nice days of winter seem to have gone, snow and strong winds in the Snowy's have indicated winter is here. Lucky to be running just after 1:00 pm today, the morning was very average weather wise.
A meeting in the city centre yesterday ruled out any running, a bus break down near the airport meant today's run was cut short. Didn't matter, still got a bit done and a couple of days off every now and then just help the freshening up process.
Roadworks behind the depot have cut off the road down to Pine Is reserve, so I have to get down near the river via the back of the Centrelink building and the Tuggeranong archery range. I would suggest both places be avoided if possible.
A strong west wind helped part of the run near the river, but a head wind on the return made life a bit difficult.
