Most of us in the Canberra had forgotten what water falling from the sky was all about. Then the weather bureau told us it was rain, well light showers, but at least is is something to water the garden.
It didn't stop a few dedicated, or stupid, runners from getting out at lunch time and I was one one of them. Bugger of a morning at work, but at least the break during the day provides a chance for the day to improve, and it did. Due to the weather, I ran a short version of a circuit from Pine Is top Point Hut and back to work. Actually found some rhythm in the soft sand and on the dirt tracks, felt comfortable, did ok.
A look over the Mt Taylor monthly handicap course tomorrow with other members of the handicap sub committee, some have suggested a double loop over the top of the mountain, but I will try and talk them out of that. Two loops, they must be on kidding!!

Keep on talking them out of it - one loop of Mt Taylor is quite enough for those of us who are not mountain goats!! Monday 8am would be awesome - I'll just do a short run Sat a bit later and save my long run for Monday. Have to run for 3hrs 15mins though. Is that ok? I will be slow on the hills as I'm out of practice!!

I might be up for a few ks on Monday.
It was fun running in the mud last night :) I've been informed CJ is still alive. Thanks for the update on Elizabeth - a shame she's not doing much - she's a talented runner.
