A Walk Through The Valley

Today:
Distance: 6 km
Time: couple of hours
Rate: very slow
Weather: beaut, sunny, temp 20 degrees, humidity 25%, calm
Week: 54.8 km
Oct: 85.05 km
Year: 3750.45 km

What a great day for a stroll in the valley, the Orroral Valley in Namadgi National Park south of Canberra. Tomorrow there is a run organised by the Aust Mountain Running Assoc starting early in the morning so I helped the president mark the course today.
Just about perfect weather in the national park. John dropped me off on Smoker's Trail at the end of the valley so I could walk back towards the burned out remains of Rowley's Hut while he marked other parts of the course accessible by vehicle.
Plenty of kangaroos about, mums with joeys all enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Great day, glad to have been on holidays and able to assist. Should be a nice day again tomorrow for the actual events.
