Run No 139 at the Cotter in ideal conditions, sunny, cool and no wind. Met the diehards at 7:30 am, two of us backing up after a marathon last Saturday. Some how it didn't feel like it, so I must have just not pushed hard enough last week.
I ran the traditional 18 miler with Liz, Mick not far behind most of the way, Robbie did the 21 and Michael doing the 15 miles. A convoy of 4WDs met us Warks Road, luckily there was no dust. Water at Vanities over the wall, waded through, water cool, refreshing and very nice.
Best run over the 18 mile course in nearly 5 years, strangely took it easy from the start, and it paid off, finished well in good shape, just over 34 minutes from Vanities to the finish. Marathon last week behind me now with the Orroral Valley 32 km run next Saturday.

5:09 per k! You forgot to tie Liz's shoelaces together. Yes, I could probably run that pace (from Pa to the finish).
