Finally, and It's Looking Good
Distance: 13.8 km

Weather: sunny, temp 14 degrees, humidity 45%, WSW wind at 10 kmph to start then up to 25 kmph

Finally the sun shone, it wasn't that warm at midday, and there were a few isolated spots of rain this afternoon. But, it looks like spring may actually be just around the corner.
The weather certainly plays a role in my running enthusiasm. Nice days, even hot days can get me out for a long time. Bring back parts of winter and I will hibernate.
The problem with going to Glasshouse Mtns events in Sept in Qld is the need to train long and often in a cold Canberra winter. May I soon be able to miss a winter or two, or all. That would be nice.
Today, ran home at lunch time and back to work. Good conditions to run, a light SW wind at first, then a bit stronger on the way back. Certainly didn't push the pace, but the clock said it was Ok. Saving myself for a Cotter run on Saturday morning.
1 Comments:
It was fine in Belconnen.
In another week you will be cursing the heat!
