There have been crashes on Wall St, crashes in the Aussie dollar, crashes on Mt Panorama, crashes and falls at the Melbourne marathon, and some big falls in the WWE. They should all be named after our infamous faller, CJ. Doing a CJ has spread all over the world.
After watching the stories on the week's financial meltdown and the start of Bathurst this morning, I went out for a short run, no falls for me. A beautiful morning, not many people about, a few cars going somewhere, but no crashes either.
Down and back to the river from Point Hut to Pine Is, 10 minutes in the water to cool the legs and back home. Don't know why, but that was all I did all day, even had an afternoon siesta while the cars were going round and round. Woke in time for the last hour of racing, that was good.
Back to work tomorrow for 3 months before the next holiday, except for a few public holidays.
