Lovely Sunday Afternoon

Nice afternoon after a bit of overnight rain and a cloudy morning. Good to finally have some warmth and now hopefully we can have some good running days without having to dodge the rain drops.
I headed to the river to give the legs a little relief in the cold water. I had earlier watched the running of the Gold Coast marathon and listened to some good words of advise from the leading competitors. One of the male Aussies spoke on the need to be on the start line in good shape, not tired and worn out from the training.
A leading female also spoke on using the ocean as a recovery, the things I try to do to keep going without getting injured.
The first part of the run today to the river was Ok, stopped for 15 minutes to stand in the water. A few other people about enjoying the day. The run back home was slow, getting tired so a few easy/rest days this week will be needed to get to the Orroral Valley start line next Saturday ready to run.
