The original intention was to run at the Cotter but the road at Vanities Crossing is closed, too much water. It would have been a long way back if we had to turn around. So Softshoe and myself ran/walked a variation of the Tour de Mountain course starting at the Mawson Playing Fields. A very warm morning with high humidity not common for us. The clouds were closing in from the western mountains but no showers came our way.
Met Elle & Kerrie T on the fire trail around Mt Taylor, they had started early & much quicker than us. Softshoe recovering from last week's Deep Space 44km run and I can't seem to get back to any form at all. However, a nice morning, plenty for us to chat about as next year's plans are laid out and decided on.
Certainly glad to finish, both of us had done enough.
